Ruby Croak @Rubys_Ink
'High Art Tattoo's' Owner and Founder is Miami born, Brooklyn raised, Ruby Croak. Her distinctive tattoo style evolved symbiotically with her career as a Fine Artist. Trained at both SVA (School of Visual Arts) and MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art and Design). Ruby studied under Big Jaz Tattoo in BK for several years before relocating to LA. Specialising in Watercolor, and Painted tattoos, her Art inspiration is primarily Indigenous Cultures of the Americas. After honing her craft at 'Artistic Element Tattoo' alongside many artists of renown and traveling the world tattooing in major International Conventions, Ruby truly carved out a name for herself in the industry.
Los Angeles 2017 saw High Art Tattoo opening its first location in the mid-city Historic West Adams District. Then followed the first Luxury, Class-A, Mobile Tattoo Studio experience, conceived and developed by Ruby & Jessica in 2020. The most recent expansion opened in St Petersburg, FL in May 2023 and is flourishing.
The ethos of High Art Tattoo is to be a safe and welcoming space for all individuals seeking creative means of self expression through custom Body Art and Piercing. We also showcase Fine Art pieces for sale and by commission to Ruby or several of her resident artists.
Jessica Rose @PoisedPiercingsXJessicaRose
High Art Co-Owner and Piercer; Jessica Rose Clark specializes in delicate, curated piercings designed to enhance the individual's aesthetic and personality. Her favorite thing about piercings is that they can be subtle as needed or stunningly impactful as desired. Jessica Rose's other passion is her work as an actor portraying characters as diverse as 'Lilith' on HBO's 'True Blood' and 'Hannah' in 'ALIEN: Harvest'. Piercings were originally a consolation prize, with tattoos not necessarily being advisable for actors, until Jessica Rose fell in love with them as a Body Art Form all their own.
